About United DMS
Originally founded in 1988, United DMS of Tennessee, LLC. (“UDMS”) has become the US leader in recycling and refining of silver from X-Ray, Lithographic, Industrial and various other polyester plastic coated films. These polyester films are made of Polyethylene Terephthalate and commonly referred to as PET films. UDMS serves key industries such as defense, photography, and manufacturing, post industrial and post consumer. With three (3) facilities in East Tennessee, UDMS is centrally located within 800 miles of 70% of the US population. Our combined facilities offer over seventy-five thousand (75,000) square feet of film processing, sorting, refining, labs, warehouse and corporate office space. UDMS processes over thirty million (30M) pounds of silver coated film each year. In addition, UDMS also has developed non-silver bearing film washing lines to recycle other plastics for reuse.
