United DMS processes the following types of products: Medical & Dental X-ray Film, Lithographic Films, Industrial X-ray Films, Microfilms, Manufactured Scrap Films, Coated Paper, Silver-Flake, Sludge’s, Emulsions and Cores.
United DMS begins the process by tapping the resources of experienced executives in key areas such as silver processing, polyester recovery, water treatment, transportation and sales. The combined experience of these executives allows United DMS to operate an efficient process, and assures maximum profitability for our customers.
Once shipments are received, all weights of the containers are logged. We understand the responsibility to protect our customers’ precious metal scrap, and have installed multiple weight points to ensure over 98% accountability. Once weighed, the materials are then ground into smaller particles and a thief sample of each lot is then assayed. The ground particles are then washed and refined of all impurities. All settlements to our clients are done 30 days from receipt.
